Apple in Zoom

In Europe, especially this part of Europe (Central Europe), mobile phones are not just for making phone calls, we use them for sending short messages.

Almost every mobile phone network offers sending of messages from the Internet, but these are usually paid services.
But, for Mac OS X users, there is a big opportunity. As they all can use Dashboard, there is a widget called CallWave. It is fully connected with your personal Contacts and sending of SMS messages is easy. And all around the world.

The only issue is the sender. It does not work for me. So, everyone in my contact list know, that the message received from the number in the United Kingdom is mine and they have to respond to my personal phone number.

But sending of messages is free of charge (so far) and you can download the widget for the dashboard here.
